Samantha Kenny
As an experienced occupational therapist, they have honed their skills through hands-on experience in various settings. Their prior placement at an aged care facility allowed them to work closely with clients, helping to improve their engagement, physical strength, and mobility in their daily lives. Additionally, they have completed a school-based placement, where they had the opportunity to work with children who have disabilities or developmental delays. Through their studies, they have also gained valuable experience working for a company that specializes in mobility aids and disability equipment. Furthermore, they have a history of working as a support worker, providing clients with care and support.
One of the things that they find most rewarding about their profession as an occupational therapist is the opportunity to assist clients in participating in activities they are passionate about and to help them enjoy those experiences to the fullest extent possible.

Sophie Butler
Hi! I’m Sophie and am an Occupational Therapist based on the Gold Coast. I have a passion for helping empower people to become the best version of themselves which is why I love being an OT. I am passionate about providing a fun environment and client centred therapy using a variety of intervention strategies to reach our end goal.
I have worked in paediatrics for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it but am always open to learning and broadening my scope as a clinical professional. I love paediatrics as it’s a key time to learn and develop new skills for them to input for the rest of their lives, but I am a strong believer that you can always learn something new with the right mindset. Previously I have also had placement experience in a hospital setting and a retail assistant in medical equipment.
A little bit about myself when I am outside of work that I enjoy to do is going to pilates, walks or spending quality time with my family and friends. I think it’s important to have a great balance between your work and personal life and doing things that fill your cup to get you ready for the work week again!

Emily Blizzard
Hi! I am Emily, and I am an Occupational Therapist based in the Brisbane area. As an occupational therapist, I am deeply committed to client-centered practice because I believe that each individual has unique goals, preferences, and needs that must guide their therapy journey. I prioritize building a strong rapport with my clients, ensuring they feel heard and valued in every aspect of their care.
My previous experience in aged care and community-based practice settings has further reinforced my passion for client-centered care. In aged care, I worked closely with older adults to help them maintain their dignity and quality of life, tailoring interventions to their personal histories, routines, and aspirations. In the community setting, I supported clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate daily challenges and achieve meaningful goals in the context of their own homes and environments.
In my spare time, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, a trip to the beach or even a good cup of coffee with a sweet treat on the side.
Client-centered practice is the foundation of my work, and I strive to ensure that each therapy session is a step toward empowering those I meet. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you in the future.
